I believe it is safe to assume that most of the disputed 22,500 ballots in Palm Beach Co. would probably have gone to Gore, so the will of the people is probably not being served in this case. Having said that, if Bush wins Florida after the absentee ballots are counted then that wil probably be it.

Someone on NPR made a great point last night. They said that Gore (and Bush) are not victims here. They were not cheated in any way so they have no legal standing. The voters themselves may have been cheated so they have the right to seek redress if they so desire.
