It certainly seems with the new CLR that it is becoming a syntax choice rather then any clear advantage one language has over another. With VFP out of the CLR for now, this is one product where there can be a distinction made between it and other languages...speed benifits, integrated data engine blah blah blah....

The other CLR languages have no native anything really and get all functionality from other components...if having an integrated dataengine comes with not being in the CLR, maybe that is a good thing...
