>Hi,

>I had a similar problem about a year ago and have just run into it again. When certain users ran the app (VFP 5) it worked fine but as soon as they exited and went back to the Windows screen it locked up. (The program closed, the Windows desktop came up, and everything looked fine. But everything was frozen. No blue screen or error messages. ) They were running the app from a Novel server on 98 workstations. It turned out that they had recently updated from Win95 to 98 workstations and had not updated the display drivers. When they updated the display drivers on the machines that locked it worked fine. I don't have a clue how workstation display drivers could cause a lock after exiting a program that was run from the network, but it definitely did in this case. Programs that they ran from the local hard drive worked fine. The exe in my app lived on the server, a target on the workstation pointed to it. I didn't change any of the workstation setup files, the only thing changed
>to make it work was the display driver.
