True enough. You said unfair.

You do realize that whatever is in the Constitution is constitutional by definition?

Fairness is not based on mathmatical proportion. The fact that the small states are given more weight (as in the US Senate) is an attempt to reach a standard of fairness based on the best judgements of human beings who framed the constitution. And the human beings who have refrained from changing this since then.

Even after 200 years I still think this is proper and useful. It is very easy for minority viewpoints to get overwhelmed by the majority.
