Hi,

Back in my days of DEC PDP series of computers we used different Hard Disk Drives to store Databases, Indexes, and Workfiles. This technique greatly decreased the time necessay to do these processes.

I'am investigating a new project with 125,000 records in the database. I have no test data at this time.

Has anyone that have applications with large databases used the above approach?

What decreased time advantage (%/time) does it provide?
