They recounted in the counties requested by the Gore campaign.

The Bush campaign COULD have requested recounts in any or all counties, but they chose NOT to, because they wanted to solify their stance. Now it's too late - they only had 72 hours.

Whoever wins, the other side is going to feel cheated.

It's quite possible Florida will go to ... nobody. They won't have certified by Dec. 18th and the Electoral College will vote WITHOUT Florida. In that case, the President will be whoever has tyhe majority of the votes cast -- Gore.

It's also possible that the House can refuse to accept the vote of the Electoral College -- though that would be a rarity.
