How are you people, my name is Pedro suarez and i am doing a database conversion from lotus approach to access 2000, however with this new database. I need to do something called probably user estamping. I know that microsoft access provides security features. not as powerful as sequel server, but it provides user name and password authentication and also you can create groups and assign users to groups and permission, however i need to know if there is some sort of a log that access has that determines which user did what. in other words if a user changed something on the table. you will be able to determine who did it and what did they changed. I know that most of access code is written in visual basic. i don't know if access has a native feature for those type of thing or i will have to write a procedure to do that. I would really appreiciated if someone helps me.
