One man, one vote. That is what it means. Bringing gender/race into it only devalues the process. The principle is majority rules. If 50.1% of your population feel one way then that is the way it should be until the other factions out populate them, the majority is swayed, or they (minority) move to another country. In other words, love or leave it or change it. The only protection we need is from self-absorbed journalists and the few who cannot abide by the rules because it isn't fair and it is not their fault, etc...
