Hi Everybody,

I decided to take the plunge and get serious about using UML for my designs, so I finally installed the copy of version 2.51 that I downloaded back in August in order to give it a try.

Let me explain what I'm trying to do and you people tell me if I'm going in the right direction or am about to see the "welcome to bosnia" sign.

I'm creating a couple of new bizobjs (invoice_bo and caseinvoice_bo).

The first thing I did was to create the classes in VUML, and then realized that they should be subclasses of kbizness, so I went ahead and did a "reverse engineering" of the kbizness.vcx library.

Interestingly when kbizobj made it to vuml, all the attributes have an initial value of 104 in the model.

I then indicated that I'm generalizing kbizness for my bizobjs and proceeded to do code generation.

Well, the code generation wizard over-wrote the kbizness.vcx library (all the properties in kbizobj now default to 104, and the new bizobjs that I created (which I indicated that I want in a new library (aalex.vcx), show up with the wrong icon (instead of a container, I have the tiny triangle-square-circle icon).

Is there a step I should take PREVIOUS to trying to work with this tool and MMortals?

How can I tell vuml NOT to overwrite my existing classes but just add the new ones?

Thanks!
