It seems more like a college fraternity game of chicken. As an American citizen, I cringe when the deputies of a candidate who is running 2nd in certified electoral votes and lacks a plurality of the popular vote refers to the candidate as "president-elect" and call on the candidate leading in both of those counts to concede.
