Aha!

You solved my problem (which you knew nothing about) in the process of helping Tom. I was using ALINES today and the text would be like this:

"Here is text

Here is more text"

It would lose the line of white space in between the two lines, most likely because it took the CHR(13) from the first line and the CHR(13) from the white space line and took them as one.
