Beware of the search paths, if you include both locations, you may get the wrong ones open.
Actually, the simples trick I've found so far is to copy all (the DBC and all of its DBFs) and then zap the tables (except, possibly, some fixed lookups) for the new customer. The trouble with this approach is that if you update any stored procedures in one DBC, you have to repeat that for each copy.
