I'll probably need to save views, too, so that's not a problem. In my testing, even filtered cursors had a .tmp extension. How would I create one with a .dbf extension?

I know I need to save more info. That I can stick in an array. I was just concerned with reliably determining which aliases would be wiped out when I do SET VIEW TO.

Thanks,

Michelle

>Views would also have a .tmp extension; filtered cursors would have a .dbf of the underlying table (but you're probably not having them if you do Create and no SQL-Select). So with these two things to watch out for, you should be OK.

So eventually you would have to copy the contents of the cursors into tables with the same names as the cursors' aliases were, or do something of the kind.
