It's a Republican majority, but I don't know by how much. I doubt we'll see that scenario play out, however. I expect that Gore will win the deadline extension, get the recounts in Dem counties for a few thousand extra votes, split the absentees, and then proclaim a "full, fair and accurate count" -- by early next week.
