Your former BDC needs to act as a DHCP server and Proxy server, and needs to insulate your LAN from the DSL interface. I'd suggest that you look at Deerfield's WinGate product to manage the connection; it can provide proxy, DHCP, DNS and a good deal more; I use it both here and at several client sites in preference to the MS-provided services. www.deerfield.com
