The weird thing was they recommended not installing it on a production machine. This worries me because earlier I downloaded the Tech Preview which was just the CLR compiler. Just having it on my machine caused it to randomly lock up. If I removed it, problems went away. Lets hope this is different.

That's not weird but expected. After all this is a Beta 1. That said, I asked somebody from Msft at the last Devcon if I could use VFP7 along with VFP6, (having VFP6 from now on basically as a compiler). He said sure, he was doing that already. Certainly, as I found (and many others), it gave no problems and works fine (this is with the VFP7 Miami Tech Preview).
This being the whole VS.Net enchilada, all bets are off.
I plan to install it on my W2K box at home, not on my NT4 box at work, JIC.
