Steven;
It will work great - as others said watch out for ODBC issues. I have used the combination many times. On one occasion I was sent to Oracle, Building 8 in Redwood City, California, by my employer. I wrote some custom code for a third party VFP Application that was in use. The programmers at Oracle did not know VFP, and looked at my code. They were suprised and said: "This is a 4th generation language"! I suggested they purchase a copy of VFP and was told that Larry Ellison would not allow any Microsoft database product at Oracle. When I went home I told a friend of mine about my day at Oracle and the comments about not being allowed to use VFP, etc. My friend said: "Don't they know there is a VFP project in building 5"?
The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.
Tom
