Curtis,

>Well, I wouldn't count anything out yet.

I'm not. This crowd has continually amazed me at their chutzpah over the years.

> Gore is well within his rights to continue to ask for recounts. And only an idiot wouldn't. (And you don't need to remind me how intelligent you think Algore is.)

Actually, I think Mr. Gore is extremely intelligent. I just think he's, well, blind to some things, whether by choice or whatever.

> The fact is that both candidates will be fighting this as long as they can.

Actually, I have no trouble with them both fighting as hard as they can. SOme of what is done sure stinks to me though. <g>

Cool. If you get the chance would you have Mr. Bush just get himself up here and let us know what the heck is going on?

>As of this morning, CBS has finally arrived - they've been strangely absent. So we have news vans from the local affiliates for Fox, ABC & CBS. NBC has a truck from the national news. And CNN also has a truck out front, but I'm not sure whether you consdier that local or national. ;}

I think CBS has had some resource troubles in the last few years; either of the cash kind or the thought-process kind. I mean, these were the folks who spent over 30 million dollars and God knows what to lure Bryant Gumbel, who was in the rating celler at NBC to be their morning anchor. He promptly got lower ratings than he had over at NBC. Not my idea of smarts. If these shows are ratings-based they should get someone like Limbaugh to be their anchor (not that he would) and you would be able to watch their ratings skyrocket. <g>
