I don't know if any wayt to simulate dragging and dropping with a grid. I've seen classes that handled multiple copying (check out Nick's grid class here) but that entails several mouse clicks to get copy the desired records and move them.

Since you aren't allowing editing, you may want to look at changing the interface if you can. For draggging and dropping, you can use a Listbox or ListView. Either one would not allow any editing and the other functionality is built in.

Just a thought.
