In VFP 6.0, is there a way to "freeze" a grid column's order without having to play around with the "partition" property and splitting the grid? I want to freeze the first few columns so I don't lose track of which record I am viewing while scrolling horizontally. I found an article at FoxProAdvisor.com by Dan LeClair from April 97 but it is only viewable in the printed edition (which, of course, I don't have).
example

Name: Position: Address: Phone: Date hired: etc...
I want to lock Name and position and be able to scroll the rest of the fields.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
