I need articles, facts or anything in that sense to backup my opinion. In the past, does anybody add any bad experience with your choice of font? Is there any chance we can offend or loose some custumer with the Arial font?

Arial is as common as MS Sans Serif
Also, it's the default of all controls with FontName|Size properties in VFP 6.0, which means that you would never have to assign a non-default value to these properties.
So, no bad experiences with it here
There should be no chance to lose or offend some customers - although there are some folks you just can't please :)
