I have a reference to a utility in my project. When I build it, the PM picks that up and tries to add everything downstream of it. I don't want it to do that. I tried the EXTERNAL command and excluding it from the project. Doesn't work. It still wants to add everything.

The docs were no help. Is there any way to get the PM to completely ignore a reference?

Hmmm... Just thought of a possibility... I could call the utility with macro expansion... Last resort, though. I'd prefer a way of doing it that doesn't invove changing the code itself.
