If is installed the odbc drivers of SqlServer in the Client, try run
"Client configuration utility" (This program is in CD Sqlserver\I386\ODBC) then select
1)Net library option:Tcp/ip Sockets
2)Advanced:Server: MyServer
:dllname: Tcp/ip Sockets
:connection string: 999.999.999.999,(1433)
