That is my problem. I thought they were the same thing. But, if you look at the Remote Automation Connection Manager there is an option to select either Distibuted COM or Remote Automation. We are using remote automation now. My PHB wants to use DCOM because it's "newer" (I think he's been reading articles again :)

Anyway, if I select DCOM it changes back to remote automation when I click "Apply."
