Yeah, sorry mate.
the recordset that i am tying to the list of the combo box has the following structure:
Name Key1 Key2 Key3

the combination of Key1, Key2, Key3 uniquely identify the Name.

now the parent recordset of the form also has these 3 key values. how do i get the combobox to display the name relative to the parent recordset?? i tried in code to step through the combo list recordset until i found the record with the correct key values, but stepping through the recordset does not change the display of the combobox. how do i make the combobox display the correct value??
