Hello,
I'm trying to benchmark some queries and views, but of course, once I run them, subsequent runs are fed from memory, so my timings are quite off.
I have managed to somehow force vfp or windows to dump its data from memory by running another query that returns about 100,000 records (i.e. select * from requests where iid % 5 = 1).
This, of course, takes some time (which I don't have a lot of right now).
Is there a way to flush the buffers and have vfp work on clean memory other than this or restarting vfp?
Thanks!
Alex
