Hi All,

I have a problem refreshing picture files in VFP. When I load a picture file from the hard disk, say a BMP file by using the GetPict() function, then make some changes to the picture in an external program (MS Paint). Intending to get the changed version of the picture, I then call the GetPict() function a second time but, quite surprisingly, I still get the unchanged picture. Is VFP buffering each picture file that it reads and always uses that buffered version within a session? Surely if I start a new session then I get the new picture but how can I refresh a (changed) picture without quitting my program? Any suggestions are really appreciated.

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Abe
