I am not a C++ by trade, so bear with me for a moment:
I am working on a project which I inherited, it builds some basic background objects for use in a larger project. We are currently attached to a VFP database, and are upgrading to MS-SQL. After editing the SQL calls to exclude '.T.' and other no-no's, I tried to rebuild all and got the following error:
%\ProjectRoot\%ctbo10.idl(34) : warning MIDL2015 : importlib not found : msado15.dll
%\ProjectRoot\%ctbo10.idl(214) : error MIDL2025 : syntax error : expecting a type specification near "_Recordset"
%\ProjectRoot\%ctbo10.idl(214) : error MIDL2026 : cannot recover from earlier syntax errors; aborting compilation
I have not changed any other code, and further experimentation (recovering out of VSS and trying again, no editing) yields the same error.
Any help would be appreciated; Thanks in advance.
