Wow, That worked great. I didn't even realize there was such a thing as a catalog template.
As an aside, I've noticed that my mail merge process is quite slow. I have a Pentium II 450 and when I run my mail merge it takes quite a while by the time it opens WORD, brings in the document, merges the document. I am using Visual Fox Extend and using their mail merge process, which uses a COPY to xls to take a cursor into Excel and uses excel as the data source of the document.
Thanks for the help.

>>Hi. I have a mail merge problem. I have a view that contains the information I need to merge into a document. The document is a letter, with a name and address. In the body of the letter I need to print many items (one for each record), as this letter is stating a number of items required. I know how to get word to print one letter for each record, but need to print one letter for many items (records). How do I do this?

>One way to do that sort of thing is to make the main document a catalog rather than a letter. Then it expects to merge multiple records into a single document.
