I am using VFP 3.0 for Windows.

How do I close a form early in its activation (or loading) if a condition arises? I would like the form to close before the user even sees it if possible.

I have tried closing the form in both the INIT and LOAD method of the form (if the error condition was detected) using THISFORM.RELEASE. The statement seems to be ignored.
