>>Hey folks,

We just completed a project for a large multi-national oil company and our breakdown was similar except we had only 11/2 months to complete and IBM hosts all their sites so IBM and an outside scalability analysis company will be handling those items. We just had to design to run in their environment.

We also didn't need a DBA even though we're using Oracle as the backend. We designed using VFP databases and upsized to Oracle, then sent an Oracle export to IBM's DBA. It took them about 2 days to get everything set-up and it took us about an hour.

We had 3 developers, which included me, the technical lead, but I was the only one full time on the project.

I don't think we could have done it as quickly as we did without using VFP and WebConnect.
