In addition to Doug's suggestion, why not give each table the same index name for the main field you want to index on. When you open the table just use that name.

>This coding picks the FIRST index for a table with more than 1 indexes, it picks the first one, which is what the program is supposed to do. Now, the problem is with one of the table, when MODI STRU, I move the regular index to the first position, then click 'X' to save it, it does not save the index in the first position.
