I'm sorry, what was clear in my head obviously was not clear in what I actually typed. I was referring to VB6, with my reasoning being that with the CLR, VB7 gets a lot of stuff that comes along for the ride, such as object pooling. VB6 objects can't be pooled because, like VFP, it uses apartment model threading.
