>Really? But I suppose that would depend both on the building tool (does it publish it in the tlb?) and the IDL viewer (is it trained to ignore IObjectControl?). I can't see how IObjectControl could in any way be inherently 'invisible', since IDL and the various parsers are obviously much older than COM+ and IObjectControl.

Makes sense. And the docs *do* say that it just can't be invoked, says nothing about visibility via the typelib. With all of the "built just yesterday" software I've got installed, believe it or not there isn't a single object on any of my work boxes that shows as implementing this interface. So, either all of this COM+/.NET stuff I've got installed doesn't use it, or it's really invisible. I know that I do have an object at home that implements IObjectControl, so I'll try to remember to take a look tonight.

>Incidentally, I am having trouble getting the IMPLEMENTS keyword to work- Classes defined with it compile fine, and the methods show up in the tlb, but neither OLEView nor the VB or VFP object browsers show the implemented interface listed. Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Does it work for you?

Works for me. Are you looking in the CoClasses for the implemented interfaces? In VFP's browser, highlight a class, then expand the interfaces node in the right pane, it should show up there.
