Hi Piper....

>i was wondering if it was possible to take a MSAccess file (.mdb) and some how >import it into VB?

VB does not have a native data engine so you really can not import it "into" VB.

BUT......

>or can any MSAcess files be imported into VB? i have a prototype that is in >Access but the actual program will be done in VB. any thoughts?

VB can work with mdb files just fine so you should have no problems. If you need some example source code go to planet-source-code.com and search on access or mdb or the like and you will find some stuff to get you going.
