Harry,
Where does the program slow down? Opening the database/tables?
Opening a form?
Doing a SQL-Select?
Displaying a combo of all 30,000 records? (if this is the problem, use a grid)
30,000 is not a very large number of records for a VFP table, and you should not be seeing slowdowns.

>Dear all,
> In one of my programs, 2 databases are open each containing about 10 tables. As the no. of records in 3 tables increases to about 30,000 the program speed slow down considerably. Could anyone tell me the possible ways to enhance the speed.
