I have a few forms that are slow in displaying because they have several list boxes that need a select each etc. What is the best way to display a progress bar until the form is visible?

Does the form have pageframes? If so, you could use delayed instantiation where you do not instantiate anything other than page1 until (when and if) others are needed. Many times users do not look at other pages in the pageframe. This way the form does not pay a speed penalty for instantiating objects in pages that may not be needed.
