Hi there,

Has anyone used the PublishObjects object inside an Active Server Page script to create a web-enabled spreadsheet for Excel 2000? Microsoft's MSDN Web Site discusses how to use this object and even provides a few examples but it seems to work well only when coded as a Visual Basic for Applications macro subroutine running inside Excel 2000! When run as ASP code, the Internet Explorer browser hangs when it keeps trying to load the next page without ever finishing. Despite all this, the Excel worksheet does get published as a web page!

It seems that the ASP script needs to be modified in some way. The ":=" assignment operator used to match parameter pairs in VBA is not understood in ASP. Any hints or advice would be appreciated.
