You need to supply just a bit more information

>1) get the form to get the relation working (I want to aviod using the Data Environment because I like to see what is the action instead of going thruogh the maze of VFP 6.0). If I have to use the DE, then it's fine.

You can open the tables you need and set any relations in the LOAD event of the form. Have you checked out the SET RELATION command?

Re : 2), 3) & 4). What are you trying to fix? What is the problem? Are you getting any errors?
