>You could always have the table open and do a COPY STRUCTURE TO your backup area WITH PRODUCTION. Then open the empty table you created and append from the original with a SCAN scatter memvar memo from the original file ENDSCAN

Why not simply USE the file SHARED, then COPY WITH CDX to the new location???
