Well, I don't know about the "day" of the independent developer, but my nights are long from consulting. When I retire in three years from my day job, I'm sure I will be able to attest to the job market for VFP nerds.<g> I've been going steady for the last 10 years with Fox and a smattering of other tools ranging from building pcs, servers, installing networks, using other software like Access, Clarion, VB, Paschal, C, etc. I think we'll be fine for a long time to come.
