You pointed me in the right direction. I looked at my old connection properties from a backup of gendbcx from a couple of months ago. I changed the database connection property to the previous setting and I can use the MS ODBC driver for Oracle without the sqlsetconnectattr error.

Is it possible to get the error messages that sqlsetconnectattr is generating?
