has anyone got a WORD macro or ?? to allow two blocks of code to be edited simultaneously?

We had an old editor, came free with a mouse, that did it in DOS !! But I can't seem to find a good solution in Windows! I've looked at some "professional" editors, but wasn't happy with the editor!

I still use FC ( Norton 4.5 ) , but the beautify command seems to work against me, a recompile or beautify can create hundreds of changes in an instant!

Top of my wish list would be a utility to tell me what the differences are between two versions of a project! sometimes I develop client & server code on two different machines, then try to merge them later ! And that is when I miss some minor things that take hours to debug !
