Just one note, though -- it will run slower. The very reason that the foxpro compiler decides to filter the table is that it is the quickest approach to returning the requested result set.
This might or might not be an issue. But I'd suggest some speed tests against some somewhat realistic data for the situation to determine how much of a factor it will be....
