John,

>You give yourself way too much credit. You assume you are in Mike's league. You assume incorrectly.....< bg >.....

I wonder what makes you draw that conclusion... The message does not have anything to do with mike's comments. In fact I did not read anything from this thread, so I could not comment on that one. My reaction was based on your irritating NON-TECHNICAL useless comments (on which you seem to have a patent).

As far for giving myself to much credit: Fortunately it is not up to you to draw this conclusion.

I really wonder about your motives to behave the way you do. You really think you're giving a valuable contribution on the UT, but from my side I see you as a person that cries for attention with irritating behaviour with a little of technical information. The small amounts of technical information seems to be drowned in personal favours and subjective stories, kind of narrow viewed. This is fine as long as it is reconizable that this information is biased. There are also others (also prominent members) which tend to force their view on software development to be as the ultimate way, only way or always the best way to develop software, on others. As a MVP this is the worst mistake you could ever make. You cannot force an opinion, you should give objective technical information which give the developer just enough information to draw their own conclusions (and not saying: you must add an index tag on deleted(), it will speed up your queries). From there you could explain what possibilities there are to accomplish things, but it should be clear that it is your favourate implementation, but not the only one possible.

>BTW, the correct spelling is similar, not "simular"..... if you are going to engage in the language, you should pick up a decent dictionary,,,...< bg >...

Who says ?? do you make up the rules, john. Are you god ?? I'm perfectly capable to express myself here on the UT. I'll bet my English is far better than your Dutch. Anyway, you've got the message: That's what counts.

B.T.W. I'm only writing this message to let other people see that they're not alone in their opinion.

Walter,
