Wouter,

I really can't explain it any clearer. That line of code is throwing an error. And VFP is trying to display a dialog box and it is not allowed.

If you are already inside an ON ERROR handler and an error occurs your handler will not retrigger again. To prevent an infinite loop the VFP error handler is triggered.

If you really don't think I read your problem statement, or that I'm stupid, I'll just drop off the thread and let you find the solution on your own, I do have better things to be doing on my holiday.

If you really want anyone to help, you should stop insulting people, and explain additional detail by answering the questions we ask, not just repost the same thing over and over.

>Well thankz for your great answers!! They really helped!

This error message really seems like a bug because if the line above really can't find the file specified then the error should be catched by my error handler.

>Ya guys may not be stupid, but you really did not read my question very well. And I just think ya american people are not so smart in general, but that's because of your stupid elections. I recently voted for something also here in Holland, and we have a much smarter system. I just had to push two buttons to vote, one for my choice and one to confirm it.
