>Guess I'll try dumbing down my system by using the standard SVGA drivers and see what happens...Also, my group is seeing problems using a variety of video cards and drivers (Mystique, Millenium, #9, and S3), if VFP is so damn picky about the video, perhaps they oughtta fix that problem, huh?

Not that this helps any but when FPW 2.5 first came out, it wreaked total havoc with the VL Diamond Stealth Video Card and Drivers which were just as new at the time. I had 15 workstations using these new cards for CAD and they also ran a time management application I wrote in FPW. CAD worked great with this card but not my app. Unfortunately, the app was developed was on my own machine that didnt have that card. This was a regular day-in-day out job and releasing an app that didnt work on any but my machine dam near got me fired.

I went to the makers of Diamond Stealth card first and they claimed ignorance, FPW was released after they made their drivers and they werent planning on an updated driver so soon. I went to M$, back in the days when support wasnt a package deal, and they asked me to get confimation from the Video Card people that they werent gonna fix their driver for my problem. I got this confirmation faxed (with a little truth twisting) and sent to M$. Within 2 weeks M$ notified me to contact the Video Card vendor, and lo-and-behold they had an updated driver. Bravo M$? Maybe not... the dam driver still caused gremlins with my app until like 2 or 3 updates later. And yes... I became that vendor's daily disgruntled customer until they finally got it right.

Good luck Richard, hope you figure this out.
