My program in the past uses the vfp5a 'wait window ..' command in my
function plus doevent() command. It seem to give me problem of my program
just halt including the OS. But on clicking or moving the mouse will cause
my program to 'wake' up and restore back to normal again. There are no error
or problem display at all.

'Wait window..' will stop anything that is running at the monent, and waits for a mouse click or keyboard entry.
'Wait window..' NOWAIT will give you a wait window but will not stop the on going process.
