>I have been trying to create a spinner that updates a text box. As suggested in the developers guide I have attempted to size the spinner to just the arrows. However, whenever I run the form and use the spinner there is still a hint of the text portion of the spinner control and it causes an annoying flicker in the cursur until I access a different control. Any suggestions on gracefully utilizing a spinner to update a text box (or any other control for that matter) would be greatly appreciated.

John

Believe it or not (!) I left the Flicker in. It gives the control a 'focused' look & lets the user know what control they are currently using.
