Hi Ken,
I can't answer your exact question, but if the vcx is in a project, and you rebuild the project and specify "Recompile All Files", you will eliminate unused records in the VCX, thus eliminating all vcx bloat. It is a good idea to do this from time to time even if you are not suffering from bloat.
